Dear citizens, inhabitants, shopkeepers, employees, customers and visitors of the Rue de l’Alzette,
As the current city centre, the Rue de l’Alzette and its side streets are an essential element of the city life in Esch. This is a place where people shop, work, spend their free time and, most of all, live!
Together with the entire new team, I would like to bring some fresh air to the city centre today. This can only happen in collaboration with you who live, work and shop here.
For this reason, we are launching a major participation and dialogue procedure and we invite you to make a very personal contribution to the future of the Rue de l’Alzette with your ideas.
Your contribution is very important to us. Please intervene! We now have the chance to improve the Rue de l’Alzette together. We invite you to help us make our Rue de l’Alzette more attractive and liveable.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE ?
ACTIVITIES
GUIDED TOURS OF THE NEIGHBOURHOODS
On Saturday, 26th May 2018 and Saturday, 9th June 2018, we offer guided tours of the Rue de l'Alzette and its neighbourhoods. At different thematic stops, experts from the municipality will give input on previous developments and current plans, in order to stimulate a discussion.
On a 2.5 km route, citizens will have the opportunity to exchange ideas and to discuss potentialities and challenges for the future development of the Rue de l’Alzette.

FUTURE CONFERENCE
An important element in the participation and dialogue process is the Future Conference, which allows you to contribute actively with your ideas on the development of the Rue de l’Alzette and of the entire city centre!
The Future Conference will consist of three parts:
1. Information exhibition
2. Moderated exchange in small, multilingual groups
3. Reception and open discussion
The Future Conference will take place on three dates. We invite you to participate in one or more of them:
